No, it may look "smoked" while it's drying, but it'll turn black when it does.

it's more of a matte finish, looks a lot better if you coat it with 2 layers of clear then after

^ unfortunately being only 10% wrong could leave you with some f**ked up wheels. Anyone sprayed clear over plastidip and then removed it with success?

^^ Exactly. I could have sworn that I read an article stating that clearcoat causes issues and creates bubbles on the plastidip...

on my license plate I am testing it while my wheels are getting coated tonight...I have plastidip over my license plate for several weeks now, with a sparkle coat on top (clear effex), and am coating it tonight with gloss clear coat! I will update yall tomorrow how it turns out/and if it is peelable or not

update it can still be peeled off, but it does not stretch as much so its harder to peel because it just tears apart. does not affect the surface below it.
