IP G35x with gunmetal G37 wheels

before pics with maxima 19s

and now,

the rims were stained very badly from acid cleaner (done by previous owner) so I had no choice but to refinish them at the lowest cost possible. Looks like they were dented from a few feet away.

And for the process (sanding, self etching primer, filler primer, 2-3 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear coat)

and for a sneak peak

and finally

yes, the car is dirty, will wash soon and do a nice photoshoot on a sunny day

No offense but your car looks beat to he11.

The wheels turned out pretty good and they super nice on your ride though.

lol, no offense taken, it gets super dirty from driving in DC everyday, and i got a few scratches from dumbass parallel parkers and random city road debris.

dropped on 1st gen tein H-techs. The gap difference really isn't that much as you can tell from my 2nd photo with max rims. its almost 1 finger vs 1 1/2 fingers. Remember, the front wheel well is bigger then the rear.

thanks for the comments guys. The maxima rims were my fav. out of the 2 sets. but it was dented from driving in the city too much, and it was pointless to buy new tires for dented rims.

I use Duplicolor Wheel Coat "graphite" with their matching clear coat.

The finish looks matte, is that what was intended?
