Speed clocked without radar/laser!
I thought I would post in the regional forum first because maybe this is something that is common in Colorado. 
I was traveling 470 West when I noticed one of those large "Your speed is ??" signs on the side of the road. It correctly measured my speed BUT my radar detector was silent. WTF is this? It looked like one of the pull up to a location signs the Highway Department sets up.I recently moved here from New York and when those portable speed signs were used they set off my radar detector, k band. Does anyone know how they are measuring my speed? It must be something embedded in the road.... right???? Curious!

Okay.. didn't want to do this.. but it's a V1. I really don't want to hear how I should have bought this brand or that brand. I know my detector is working.
I usually run with it in "Advance Logic" mode. I turned it to "All Bogey's" mode and I still don't get any signal from this thing. Curious!

That makes perfect sense!! As I stated in my original post, I still get alerts to X and K bands. Just to be on the safe side, I may send it in to have them look at it.Thanks again!

Very impressive. I have an X50 now. Is anything new coming out that I should jump on? I feel like my X50 is getting old.
