Re: Anyone in Colorado Got the Skillz

Does not look like there is anyone around who wants to take it on. If it was my car and I really wanted this mod, I'd try it myself, but I have found no benefit for me to do this mod.

There are a couple of guys at work who went through all this trouble on their beemers, but I have not heard them say, hey I watched a great movie in my car, or we had a kickin time playing xbox in the car...

If I had small children and planned a long trip in the car it might be more appealing. Have been out of the taxi biz for a while now -- Thankfully all my kids drive their own cars and/or pickups now

Good luck.

Re: Anyone in Colorado Got the Skillz

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your feedback. I have a little one and want him to be able to watch movies, playing games is not as important but would be cool. I am starting to think i need another option like in the head rest or something in the back.... but not giving up hope yet....

LOL thats great

How about does anyone know of any car shops other than car toys (tried them already) that you would think would do this kind of work?

Quality Auto Sound would do it.
Car Toys would too.

My friend Paul from Car Toys up north in ColoradoSprings is sick with it. He can give you a good deal. Mention you was given his name by his boy with a G35 Sedan. He'll know who is it. Post pics after install.

if you are still having problems locating someone, give Sam a call 770) 418-1793, or email him at sales@AVElectronic.com

he should be able to point you to someone from his dist network.

Cheers, Ted

BTW... here's an idea to mount your DVD/VCD/MPE player in the sedan. IR remote receiver was mounted in the dash. Although the DVD cannot play when armrest is in the up position, as it actually inverts it slightly.
