"open" road

I need to know where I can find a deserted (i.e. no cops) road where I can drive a little. There aren't many streets in the Chicago that give enough distance to open it up properly.
Thanks.

Come out to the burbs. Depends on how far you want to drive. I-88 is great past Naperville. I also drive south. Sometimes the Stevenson is good. The further from the city the better.

Re: "open" road

Thanks for the idea, I think I'll have to take a ride out that way. It sucks, when the car hits 2nd and really wants to go, I have to start slowing down. I did get a small fix getting back on the expressway after stopping for something to drink today at the Oasis. I just love this car and I'm still just getting to know it. Now for that S/C..................?

Re: "open" road

My mom lives up in Michigan and I love the trip up. MI speed limits are 70 on the highway. I have had plenty of fun going to see her. Some nice highway without a lot of traffic. I totally understand about wanting to see what she can do. Have fun but be careful!
