Ok guys lets all plan on this one. Sept. 8th Wheels and Wings car show. Its free to get into, and show. There are over 300 really nice cars. Theres alot to do at the show and if you don't feel like standing the whole time bring one of those fold up chairs to sit in. We will meet at Perkins in New Brighton right off of 35 at exit 25a

If you want to eat plan on meeting at 7am. Otherwise 7:30 am and we will leave at 8am sharp. Its a nice drive through Taylor Falls on the way to the show. Its pretty cool when we roll in with 20 plus Z cars and everyone stops to watch us. This year we have even more new members so there is no reason we can't get 30 cars. Steve, what about those of us coming from another direction? I am coming from the east so will be heading up on hwy 35 through Somerset. Perhaps I could meet up with you there, maybe even if you can give me an apx time and then just give a call on the cell so I can slip into the group without you having to stop. Just let me know your route and apx times and I'll send you my cell number and a possible meet up place.

FYI to all thinking about this - This is a huge air & car show with over 1,000 cars and a great warehouse book sale from MBI Publishing (auto books). All kinds of cars are in the show including Ferrari, classic cars, muscle cars, Z cars, race cars, etc. It's also free to attend or register your car. They also have a number of other events going on there over this weekend including a fair, snowmobile factory tours, free shuttles between the events, etc.

I'm trying to remember the route we take. Where is somerset? I know we head up 35N and go through the Taylor falls area to get there.

Well, I'm planning on going up, but I'm not going to show my car this year. I've been too busy with work to clean it and I also need to head out early for some other activities here later in the day. I will stop by and say hi to you guys.
