I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a reputable audio installer in the Indianapolis area. I'm not looking for a competition-level system, but I'd feel much more comfortable knowing that the shop was capable of such an upgrade. I've always performed my own installs in the past but I just don't have the time anymore. I'm terrified that my car will end up in the hands of a 16-year-old who will twist the wires together, wrap 'em in tape, and throw everything back together.

Any recommendations?

 

Ovation Audio in Indy. They've got tons of stores, but my personal fave is in Castelton. They've got guys (and gals) who've worked looong hours in cars and know what they're doing.

Expensive, yes, but not too bright over the phone [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] I detailed the install for my sat radio (non-pre wired sedan), and they quoted me $100 or so for it. I signed the paperwork, and when I picked it up, the guy said "Damn, I wish we'd quoted you a lot more, that took much more time than I though...". Clean install, though.

Wow, I never would have guessed Ovation. When I stopped by the Greenwood store several years ago, I wasn't overly impressed. Thanks for the recommendation!
