Who do you insure your G35 with?
Who do you insure your G35 with?
What company do you use to insure your G35? What are your rates and levels of coverage?
I'd prefer to see responses from those only insuring 1 vehicle. If you have a package discount w/ your home/other car, please make that clear.
I'm 23 with a 5 year old accident and a 1 year old illegal U-turn.
I've been told the accident drops after 3-5 years by Safeco and Geico, and thus far it hasn't appeared to impact my quotes.
My quote from Safeco was outrageously high. I was being charged a $120/MONTH penalty for the one U-turn ticket. This put my rate up around $355/mo.(vs. $235/mo w/o violation) with less coverage than Geico.
My quote from Gieco was $189/mo. (without submitting social security info for 'soft' credit hit)
BI- $100/300k
PD- $50k
Uninsured- $50/100k
Comp/Coll- $500
Rental- $25/day, $750 max.

This should be posted in your regional forum to get the most useful responses, I can't see how the fact that I pay $1276/year on my 07x in Canada relates to your insurance rates.
I have AAA...
and have very high coverage and low deductibles and pay ~USD 150/month for my new G, new Murano, and an old Maxima (no collision coverage on that). So I would definitely get a quote from them. Two caveats: I also have my house covered through AAA and get a multi-policy discount, plus I'm 34 y.o. married with 1 kid and no accidents or tickets (no tickets in last 5 years).

good point, I've been bouncing around on local forums and forgot this one had a lot of people in canada and so cal it seems.
I guess its kind of like the price negotiation threads tho, different numbers for different locations.
I'm in Kansas City, KS btw.
Had Travelers, but had 1 accident (ice storm) and they wanted $6000 a year! That's right, it's not a typo. I'm married, well over 25 and have no other incidents. The accident only cost 1200 to fix.
With Progressive now and pay $1600 yearly for G and fully loaded 2k7 Nissan Quest. Wife has 1 moving violation.

She says they are new employees straight out of school with no experience ect. And they refuse to fight claims with you. She says she wins every time due to them having to fight.
And she would say "Just dont wreck anything and have to deal with them."
i work as an insurance agent we have 8 standard compaines. AIG, Progressive, Travlers, Deerbrook, Encompass, Safeco, Hanover (currenly giving best prices) AAA, and we have 10 substandard compaines i live in chii town iIL if you guys need a quote or compare your rates call us up 773-838-1700 my name is daniel ill give you a free quote if nothing else you can know you are paying good money as compared to all other standard insurance companies such as statefarm and allstate.
I'm 32, married, and insure both our cars through 21st Century Insurance. For $100/$300K injury and $100K property damage coverage, with a $1000 collision and $500 comprehensive deductible, I pay $850 a year to insure both the G35 and my wife's RX300. I guess it pays to be over 30 and married...hehe...
you have good coverage but then again your older and married there is allot of factors that play into insurance like age, status, if you own your home or not, if you have continuous coverage, i have my car insured under my dad i have 100/300K limits with 500 comp and collision i just bought the car so i don't have continues coverage yet seeing as this is my first car insurance is a mother ****er if you don't shop around ... if your 19-21 years old single male don't own your own home and live with your parents and you want to buy a brand new or even a 03 to 07 G35 expect to pay ALLOT!!!!
