hey i dont know if everyone is still trying to do a meet in Chicago but I just bought mine about 2 months ago and Id like to meet some fellow G owners in Chicago...weather is getting better (hopefully) so we should start organizing something

yea unforunately a lot of people that are into cars are douchebags. what are you gonna do. Yes i would like to meet some cool normal g35 owners, you know....people who have jobs. according to the Z website, thers supposed to be a meet april 15th? i think its in schaumburg and thats where i reside...

yea unfortunatly i dont have a g, i drive an 2005 x5 4.4 but i am still interested in coming because i am lookin to get either a g or a z. my buddy just picked up a g a few weeks ago and i no he would be interested in coming also.

but im in....

Chicago Z Meet is on 4/20 (No Joke)

All the info is in the CAR TALK sub-forum. Sedan's are more than welcome.
There will 300's, 350's, G's, and some other nice cars.

So far their is 43 peeps signed up. Last year we had over 100 cars show up!

I thought I should chime in here since there seems to be alot of questions about the local Chicago scene and ChicagoZ.com

1. ChicagoZ.com was formed in 2003, as membership expanded we added more subforums and what not, especially for G35 drivers.

2. Contrary to what is being posted here.. you'll be VERY surprised at the amount of G35 owners on the site. At the meets, it's almost 50/50 SPLIT! No joke, half Z's and half G's! So don’t let the name “chicagoZ” fool you… at times last year, we have joked about changing the name! J

3. Unfortunately, we have a smaller amount of sedans then coupes. Arguably, there are more coupe enthusiasts then sedans. BUT.. we all love the sedans! One of the moderators on the site actually has a supercharged G35 which is really quick.

4. We are regular guys, have jobs, etc. But of course, along with other forums, there are d-bags here and there, but we deal with them.

5. The meets we hold are the biggest G/Z get-togethers in the midwest and are quite organized with "pre-meets," cruises, etc. This year we're doing more shows, track events, etc.

As Diamond Bob Mentioned, the first "big" meet will be in a few weeks. We have already around 50 ppl "signed up" and we usually get double that amount.

I'm in the market for a G coupe and hopefully I'll be able to get one and come to the meets soon.

I'm a lifelong import guy. I'm a longtime member of NASIOC.com and MR2OC.com. I've had modded WRX and a swapped 93 MR2 Turbo that I recently sold. I'm currently rocking a 01 Mazda Protege MP3 that was my daily driver and is my only car at the moment.

Hope to be seeing you guys this summer, and the ChicagoZ guys too!
