Thanks for the compliment, I really had no idea any MN members were on here, I thought it was pretty much SoCal exclusively.

I just noticed that there are a ton of cars without front plates. I believe that this is not legal but does anyone ever get hassled? I have the bumper cover still and would certainly prefer to put it back on.

Having no front plate is illegal and will get you pulled over regularly. All those guys with no front plates in those pictures were talking about the numerous times they've been pulled over for it haha

For sure man, I really wanted to take off my plate and just put it inside behind my windshield but I've been pulled over with that also. Cops don't care if you have it showing, they want it on the front bumper.

It's pretty much impossible to read a plate in the front window if you're driving past it in the other direction. The only thing is the cop might be a little more lienient if you have it in the window as compared not having it at all.

^ Yeah. I picked them up last week from Steve(SW150) with the Z. Made sure to the the Unrevised springs. I'm not sure yet if I'm gonna install them, or just take it somewhere to get it done. That is unless some of you have the proper tools and want to help.

To this user...

Are those stock side sills painted, or are they the NISMO sills? Really thinking about painting mine, just wondering if it will hold up well though. I know it will look good, I'm just wondering if the paint will stick well.

Has anyone here had their side sills painted? Where did you get it done and how much did you pay?

I am just concerned that the paint will chip and fall off, then I will need to replace all of them, but I know some people have done it.

Not interested in spending a couple thousand on the Nismo kit, as I bought this car to put a lot of miles on it in a short amount of time.

The Nismo kit is a bit out of my price range as well. I think that even if the paint did start to chip you could always paint them again. If the paint is done right I do not think it would be a problem.

That's my ride. Yeah it's the NISMO kit. Thankfully when I bought the car it was already on so I didn't have to do anything. If you have the 03-04 sedan you should either buy the kit or paint the sills already on your car. I'm not a big fan of the black sills on the bottom if the car isn't black. I'm sure most people feel the same way. Good luck with whatever you do.
You should make it out to a meet, we could use more sedans
