jeez damn.. i was just asking why yall wanted them at a 'g35' meet... but if you want to get into it, no i dont see why people attempt to make cars like cavaliers look 'better'... though i wasnt implying anything at the time.
We were talking because he is a roommate of StreetDreamZ and since he is into cars I figured it would be something right up his alley. So please provide a list of cars that should be modified according to you.
Newer than 19xx?
Only imports?
MSRP > what amount?
I took my cavalier to over 50 shows during the time I showed it, placed 1st in well over half of them, Over half the shows were import/domestic all rolled into one class. I tastefully modded it, did not drive it like it was a Ferrari, and in general had an interest in all the cars there regardless because I respect the work and pride people put into their rides. I will go out on a limb and say with any car no mater the price tag, stigma, or design, you can find ones that look absolutely horrible.
Since you brought it up "make cars like cavaliers look 'better'" What is the difference of modifying a G? Is there any economical benefit to how your car looks, absolutely not, so what do you do it for?...because you like it and take pride in it? We all know there is not much to be gained performance modifying a G to get better gas mileage, sure they have more power, but not everyone including myself gave a sh*t about that, and there is fairly small crowd that have more than then typical bolt ons/exhaust mods to give their Gs a significant gain in power. I know my car was a Cavalier, if I wanted to build a car to go fast, I would not have had a Cavalier, I built it for looks to go to shows, not drag races.
I just find it amazing how many people think their car is the only thing worth modifying, as if there is any real benefit to modding.

i couldn't have said it any better. Anywhere I went, people always began with the words..."dude, its a cavalier...COME ON!!" But you know what? I was proud of the hrs of work and effort I put into it, which resulted in the last year I had my car of people asking..."man, is that ...what, a cavalier? I've seen MANY cav's modded and hated them, but you definitely did yours right!!" I put hours and hours and HOURS of just studying/research into just what was the "right" way to modify a cav(which 95% of first time modifiers don't do), to have a quality suspension setup, a body kit that's not bulky and cheap to keep it clean, not to have a huge rice wing, ...ah I could go on and on but it would be wasting my time.
To sum this all up....a site isn't about bashing cars...people purchase cars they can afford, and work with what they've got. Again its about the love and passion that we all share...which brings us all together~

Now this is just getting blown a little out of proportion -- I believe he only posted that because the guys agreed that this would be best kept an all G/Z cruise. Thats why I had to tell my buddies from club RSX no go.
I will comment on the photo spots.
Pakring garages are usually fun and some lakes (like minnetonka) can be good spots as well. just pull off some place.
You can also do downtown stuff as well.

....obvious ...haha jk
The river, there's a nice road and very low curbs over where the U is, Right under washington bridge you can prop your car up on the grass, hope the cops dont come, and take pics. Another place i could say is in west bloomington on highland road, and you'll come to a very wooded area and you see a small nature alley where you can drive you car into and get a very green and earthy background. Another really good place is under the new bridge. There's a road that you can drive on to get there but you'll have to be careful cause it's a "permit only" road. Let me know if you want better details i can get em for you
