Need your help....... So, in two hours I'll get off of work and I'll be on my way to grand rapids, mn. Its about 3.5 hours one way from the cities about! I can't decide if i should drive my coupe or take the gf's outback. Keep in mind that we're going to a friend's cabin that has a dirt driveway thats about .25 or so miles?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I looks like a sweet drive but the driveway and the weather is kinda making me lean towards the outback but i keep on going back and forth.

I'll do that if I can get any definite answers. So far it sounds like there could be my friend Tina in her 2008 Cooper S, might be a couple of Saabs and maybe a Mk5 GTI so long as his downpipe is installed. But there are no absolute yes's.

Grand Rapids is such a great town. Where in it are you? My grandparetns owned a home for 30ish years on Lake Pokegama right next to the golf course. I try to go up there at least 1-2 times a year.

Sounds good. I haven't gotten any more responses than I already mentioned. IDK what it is about Euro guys, but some don't seem to like anything but. However, that's true to some extent to every brand/region of car. I like cars, I'm not bound to any one kind. Case in point: I want a 3rd gen Camaro really bad (that's the redneck in me speaking).

WHAT ... thats exactly where we were! We were right next (i mean RIGHT next) the lowest hole of the golf course. The cabin i was at had a 3-season porch that I had to sleep in and I'd hear people tee-off right next to me!!!

Small world

Yea make sure you add Tevi too, cuz I know he doesnt have a choice there. Just depends on whether his wife was coming too. I'm gonna start getting the car cleaned up on Friday. Hopefully it doesnt rain Fri/Sat and Sun so I dont have to worry about getting my clean car rained on again. It seems to happen most meets that we have that I get rained on at some point.....

Hey now! I had washed and waxed my car the night before the meet...only to have it rain a couple hours later and I ended up spending another 20 minutes at 530 in the AM drying it. I was pissed!!

I wouldnt mind eating near Wabasha, I figure it will be 12 or 1 by then and I will be having breakfast about 630 since we'll be leaving here around 7 to 730 lol. But thats just my input. I'm sure Ben and Bryce will be similar but we'll see

No kidding! My grandparent's house was just off the farthest hole from the clubhouse. So was the cabin by any chance red and owned by a family named Durfee? With a mailing address of Isle View Rd.?

Or were you on the Clubhouse side, off of Golf Course Rd.?

Me either. For some reason latly, i really want a german car.

I'v test driven like, 10 german cars in the past month and thats probably not helping for my case.

Lol... we were right off of Isle View Rd. and Emerald Dr. So I think it’s right at the same place, but the house wasn't red nor the family name was Durfee. But I think we must have been right next to that house though. To tell you the truth, I kinda remember that the neighbor’s house was red but I was fairly tipsy most of the night so I can't remember for sure. That’s pretty cool though.

The only bad thing from that weekend is that I'm sick now. It was very cold and I had to sleep in a 3-season porch which didn't help!
