^^I hear ya on the suspension and brakes. I just got my rears replaced no more then 4 months ago and I think i DEF broke them overly in!! Suspension is definitely my next mod, i'm sick of having this nice of a car with too high of center of gravity for body roll purposes.

as for the beginnin on 494...i didn't know how fast to go...kept it at 75-80 but sounded like everyone kind of got out of the lot slower then i thought so had to speed to catch up?...mYYY bad..lol!

Let me start off saying that I loved it yesterday. Never drove my car that hard before, and definitly found out alot about my car . Just loved it

As for the TL, it was a little scarry. I was right behind Mike and just cought the end of it was he was going off the road and wasn't really sure how bad it was and was scared about you guys coming up behind me around the corner and doing some unnecessary damage to anyone! But I was very VERY impressed as how fast we got that car out!

As for the pics, i did take a couple of the skid marks and the angle of the car:
I think i attached em, i'm never sure if the attachments work!!!

Yea I see em, I wasnt thinkin about getting pics of the skid marks but I'm glad ya did. I was really impressed with my fuel mileage yesterday . By the time I got back to roch I put on 230 miles and just barely sneaked over the half tank line, not bad for doing 120ish on those straight aways and higher rpms. I definitely agree with Lance saying the Gs perform better when pushed harder, at least the drop in milage is hardly noticable between babying it and pushing it. For me it was a diff of 30 miles on a full tank between shifting at 2500ish rpms and 3500 to 4k rpms. So I figure I might as well have a bit of fun if its gonna end up the same when I'm back at the gas station Thanks again to all who came out and had a fun time, I'm glad we can have fun and still be safe for the most part with traffic/other drivers.

I'm totally gonna look into sway bar/strut/spring mods, I felt like my car was gonna flip over when I was going around some of those corners. I'm just glad I didnt have to pry myself off my door too much hehe

There was a G35 sedan at the autox yesterday. It was ***-happy and seriously needed some suspension mods. Sounds like it would be a good investment.

The thing that was letting me down was my suspension, and my brakes. Every time i'd go to brake, those ***** would just SHAKE. Seriously need slotted rotors. And my suspension? Yea, that needs a change as well. I feel like im on jello half the time.
You can thank your Z buddies for that.

+1 on suspension mods. I'll never regret mine. Saved me a few times.

I LOOOOOOOOVED my cross-drilled slotted. Anytime I needed to brake it worked wonderfully, I had minimal shaking and brake fade which worked perfect especially on those crazy down hill sections. I'm very happy with mine. They were only $650 shipped too :P. But I did pay 175 for half price install, it was a lengthy process.

I look at the glass half full. My car is fine no real damage. By immature driving I learned the limits of my car and next time know how to handle driving in a situation like this. Yes I was lucky, yes it was dumb, yes it was immature. But I am happy I kept up with you guys that long in my 4x4 stock suv even though I had to go 120% when most of you were probably going for a cruise through the park with your cars and how well they handle lol

Hell yeah that was a good time. The 37 brakes are pretty awesome coz I barely got any shaking and the car handled awesome with just those springs. had a blast in Manual mode while using the paddle shifter through the twisties. My next investment will be coilover/strut bar and frame brace. Good times people, good times

There was nothing like coming over the bends and just shifting right at red line. And idk about you guys, but my backend would NOT slide out. Those falkens just GRIPED. I seriously tried on a few corners and nothing would happy, i'd just end up going faster around the corner LOL

I could have gone faster but that damn coupe in front of me was in my way!

lol jk but it was indeed a fun day. I just need some better suspension for the next one.
