Hey guys, just purchased a 2003 g35 coupe, manual, with the sport package/brembo breaks. I sold my mazdaspeed 3 in order to buy it, the speed was a great car. I am interested in a quiet dual exhaust and I have heard Stillen makes one as quiet as stock with upgraded performance. Anyone have one? Or heard it in person? If you are selling one I would be very interested to come see it. Please Private message me any information you have, as I am getting used to finding stuff in the forums, not sure if ill be able to find this page again haha. Thanks!

Welcome, and congrats on the G! Here's a thread in the 2003-2007 coupe section that should help you out: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...mpilation.html

Hey guys, sorry I couldn't make it this weekend. Just got some winter tires and wheels and followed Da-G-SpoT's DIY on wheel painting and was sanding and painting all weekend. Didn't remember to take a before photo, but got one off fo Google image search ( mine had alot more curb rash lol). Let me know what you think:

Nice work, Ming. Post some pics after you slap those wheels on the coupe.

Another question for you local guys, has anyone else removed their side molding? I know how to do it, but my concern is my car is IP and the strips have been on there since 04 and I fear the wrath of paint yellowing. Anyone with experience removing 7 year old molding, and if so, how did it turn out?

I haven't done that, Ming. I'd be a little concerned about a mismatch too, but I'm sure it's nothing a little polish/buffer action can't take care of.

^^Agreed. I removed my emblems and had a little fading. I just used some Meguiars Cleaner Wax and it did the trick. The side moldings on the coupes must not have alignment holes I'm assuming. That would be the only other thing.

Alright, just removed them and there is some slight yellowing. Tried ultimate compound by hand and claying, helped a little but still there. Body lines defInitely look better though. Googled around and it seems that after a few months it will blend with the rest. Removed them real carefully so I can put them back on if I ever need to. Thank god for space heaters!

Yeah, I heard the sedans have mounting holes so you have to patch and paint the door. At least for me the moldings serve no purpose; my car is lower than most and if I get dinged its gonna be up by my door handle where the body lines bulge out and not at the bottom where the moldings are. I also went ahead and removed my dead frog/sirius antenna that's was also an eyesore. Lucky for me I had the boxy one that just attached by tape and magnets and not the screw in type some cars have.

Anyone have or know of someone selling a cheap sedan? I do mean cheap. But reliable. My sister with 3 kids needs a car to get to work and has no money and a dead beat husband. Thanks
