Actually, when I put springs in my 35 coupe, the ride quality had actually gotten softer and more comfortable. Stock springs just don't have the R&D put into them that aftermarket ones do. This is why I highly recommend to anyone to go aftermarket for a suspension.

I'd pick up a set of springs similar to an Eibach kit. From what i'v read, it is pretty comparable to stock.

I had 350z suspension on my car and it didn't ride any worse than my stock sedan setup.

Jeez guys, I had to go back 5 pages to catch up! The boards are usually dead for a bit longer than this. Good to see we're gonna be seeing some new faces though!

I say go with a drop first. The stance on the G looks so much nicer when dropped. I put on some 350Z H techs and it ended up being about a 1" drop up front and 3/4" in rear. A pretty mild drop but looks 10X better. I'll find before and after pics of my stock 19's. And as far as ride quality goes, they were softer than the stock sport springs too. But if you're going with coilovers, I'm assuming you'll be getting adjustable ones so dial it to your liking.

well now I'm looking at just getting a beater. I just cleaned out the wheel wells, again, and noticed the inside lip of the fenders paint is cracking and starting to rust. I also noticed the lip isnt smooth anymore, its like its being pushed from the inside. I'm assuming its from the snow that gets packed in there, and when the suspension compresses and the wheels push against the snow from bumps it causes the packed in snow to push the fenders out. I try to keep the fenders cleaned out but since Crow Wing county doesnt plow the damn streets here the wheel wells are packed again within a few hours.

Not.Happy.

****...just another reason why I don't want to drive my G in the winter anymore. Although, Just being effin parked this year it took some damage too! Damn car port stakes busted during a windy day and the pole rubbed up against my door and left some nice scuff marks! And the damn snow blower I was using also slipped on me a bit and put a nice ding in my fender

I'll have you look at it Janik but it's pretty good into the clear. Might be able to smooth it out though...ionc. And the damn snowblower gashed down to the primer and left a small dent too. That's what I get for trying to clear the snow around my car When it wasn't even going anywhere

yeah, the 08's has a bad batch of batteries. After researching they are actually all covered under warrenty for free. ...I'm still considering still getting a yellow or red top.

I would have to worry about snow packing the fender wells too since it's my dd, even in the winter. I'd love to mod the **** out of it, but if it's gona haul kids and get to 200K miles, I'm starting to double think a lot of mods.
