Yeah, under a car port. And Lance, I say get the new battery from warranty first and then get something else if you want. That way you know you have a new backup too.

There simply is NO trick to limiting rust. Bodyshops always have referrred to rust as Cancer...you can cut it, replace it...but its still there.

The only way to get ride of it is to replace the panels/fenders.

this is not even an issue. I drove my 35 coupe an entire winter without A SINGLE problem. No matter what salt gets in yoru fenders from driving it in winter causing it to melt out or simply fall off.

you're droppin it! and thats final!!!! I will NOT let you talk yourself out of it!!

The x will hopefully be lowered next winter. I'm not too worried about anything, it'll just plow snow

I got some stuff from the body shop for rust. Its supposed to seal it and stop it from spreading. Thats all I care about right now. Once May hits I can send it to the body show and get it fixed.

this IS an issue. Maybe not common, but it obviously happens since a few weeks ago when I was looking at my wheel wells they were just fine, and now they look like someone took a hammer to them. Snow packs in, tires push up against the snow, snow has no where to go but push on the wheel wells. I'm talking PACKED, like to the tire. Most of our streets here havent been plowed yet, the loose snow packs in pretty quick.

yeah I clean it out when I get home each day, but Monday when we got snow I had to drive to camp ripley and the roads werent really plowed yet, so it got packed in there during the trip. cleaned it out at Camp, and it was packed again by the time I got home. I'm thinking the train tracks are what did me in as far as the wheel wells getting pushed.

^^^damn where the he// do you live that they don't plow at all?? I mean I drove in a crap ton of snow w/ my 35 coupe bro and I seriously never had any problems. I also at that time never was able to park the car inside either so it never had a chance to thaw. I'm w/ Janik on this one where I don't know how it could get that bad?? Do you have liners in yur fenders or did you remove them?

I don't know what could possibly cause it to PACK in there?

Brainerd, Crow Wing County is absolutely horrible at plowing and usually waits a couple days before really doing anything. They will half a**ed get major highways, but any 2 lane country road or side street wont get touched. My street has yet to be plowed since it snowed Sunday night, and it prolly wont because the traffic has packed it down already.

Inner liners and fenders are still there. Next time it packs in I will snap a pic to show how bad it gets. It literally fills the entire wheel well up to the tire.

I know brainerd. My fiancee's dad's wife works at Breezy Point resort and they live up there. Her grandparents also own a cabin up on the lake which I think we might be going to for my bachelor party.

We should head up to lake country some time this summer. It would be awesome to do some driving up there.
