My big thing is I want to go on a vacation before I ship out, but I also want wheels because the stockers are boring to me and I'm impatient. I cant get suspension and pay for a trip, so it's one or the other, but I realyl want new wheels lol.
How bad of a gap will it leave though? I'd be running the same overall diameter with the setup I want, and my rears are already pretty well filled out.

If you really want new wheels get new wheels, no one is stopping you. Our suggestions of new suspension first is just what we would do, and would be a better option in our opinion. It's your decision and you should do what you feel you would like to do in the end and not what other people say to do.
i'm up in the air about it. I'll snap a shot of what I have now for you guys to see. Keep in mind these would be 19's, M6 replicas so I need a wheel adapter, which will ultimately push them out a little bit. Not sure if I would need to roll the fenders without a drop or not.

I guess the fronts have a good gap right now, but I'm running a 40 series tire on 18's and they are getting worn down as well. The rears I'm running a 45 series. I got good deals on used tires so thats why they are 40's in the front.

BTW, anyone here ride? I wont have much time to get out before I ship, but I'm always looking for peeps to ride with that dont act a fool on bikes. Yeah, you gotta have fun on a sportbike, but a responsible fun.
both Janik and Tevi have bikes...
example of a stock suspension w/ random aftermarket 19's...
a car w/ black wheels can pull it off(not well, but can), but with lighter wheels...ahhh, i'm telling ya, PLEASE do not get wheels before you drop it. I'm not saying you need coils...you can easily drop it with some tanabe's or eibachs for a few hundo. Drives me nuts when i see cars w/ wheels and a hideous wheel gap. You wouldn't believe the difference AN INCH makes...or even less!

The correct way would be to drop the car first. My current car has black wheels (painted stockers) and it doesn't look bad but it looked way better when it was lowered. If you can live with the gap and comments other people make but wheels.
What kind of changes on ride quality do you guys see vs. stock when dropping the car? The car already has a more sporty suspension than most sedans. I'm worried about it a little since this will my dd for a number of years. I'll end up hauling kids around in it in a couple years and I plan on putting about 15k miles a year.
