So I just picked up 06 G35x that I wanted to have a few things look at before the bumper to bumper warranty ends. I'm also looking to buy an extended warranty depending on the pricing.

Anyone recommend any particular dealers? I'd like a dealer who is willing to offer loaner vehicles as my schedule makes it difficult to drop off the car and get a ride to work.

 

Since you are still under warranty any dealer will provide a loaner when u drop off. If you are south go to Infiniti of Orland Park. I have found them to be the cheapest and they do good work. If you are north try Infiniti of Glencoe. I heard they are accepting of mods there. Never had work done by them before, though. I stay away from Infiniti of Lisle. Hope that helps.

 

I've had mine into Infiniti of Hoffman Estates (Schaumburg) They are excellent. They replaced the door trims plates and steering wheel because of the flaky paint. They went through the tsbs and fixed all that applied they even noticed the Gauge cluster dash lifting issue on the corner and replaced that all free of charge and no hassle. Nothing but an excellent experience from them. Hell I didn't even buy the car I have from them. I will get my next G from them though.

 

Wow surprised you had a positive experience with Hoffman. I live in Schaumburg and try to avoid them at all costs.

 

no every time that I have been there I got nothing but excellent service from them no hassles. I was sure that I needed brakes and was ready to take the hit on it when they told me it was just that the fluid was low then they went through the system to see why the fluid level was low. When I just had the steering wheel replaced for the peeling they couldn't align it exact so they did some other things to correct and then did an alignment all at no cost or hassle. I have had nothing but good service from them. Did you have a bad experience from them? Now the one in Lisle is a different story.

 

I use Infiniti in Libertyville. I've known my service writer Chris for almost 8 years now cause I used to work at another dealer with him. I've always had great service there. Also, if you're out of warranty, a good place to go is Meineke in Mundelein off of Rt 60. The guy that opened it used to be one of the techs at Lib Infiniti and he's the one that replaced the trans on my G35. Great work. Great prices.

 

I live in Cali now, but Infiniti of Lisle was pretty good at one point of time!
