Re: Barrington Infiniti

Miki9478,

Just dealth with MWB yesterday and closed a deal on a G35 Sedan that I'm picking up on Saturday! Very nice people! Say their best customers dress like bums (lol). Dealt with a Mercedes sales specialist but was able to sell any car off their lot! Seems like they're a very professional outfit and they met my expectations on price. I'll let you know how delivery and "extra's" go Saturday night!

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Thanks for the info! I'd appreciate any updates. My coupe is on order and I'd like to know what I should expect from them.

Thanks again,

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Miki,

I'm going tomorrow! Delivery at 3:00PM. Libertyville already had their Coupes listed as ready to be sold on their web site. If yours is an auto, it should get there soon. Which one did you get?

For your FYI, I negotiated $1,000.00 off MSRP on a car they had for 20 days. The Hold back rebate they get is like $986.00 so they nearly cleared that with my offer. I got a phone quote from Flether Jones Infiniti in Chicago for a grand off MSRP so they matched and I took it becasue I will use them for service becasue they're close.

For your coupe, they might nt budge off MSRP just yet, especially since you ordered it special but don't accept any price above MSRP!

Good luck!

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Miki,

Brought home my G on Saturday afternoon. MWB was very busy but I still managed to get out of there in nearly an hour and a half! Very nice experience! Clsoing the deal went smooth and no "hidden" costs or anything like that! I would reccomend MWB when you buy your coupe totally! We're going back in about a month to buy a Mercedes ML320 from them!!!!

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Miki,

Go to www.edmonds.com. Go to Infiniti, G35. it will tell you right there the holdback and you can click a link to read about what it is. For the G's it's 2% of factory invoice and 1% of MSRP. For me that totaled almost a grand. I had a trade in towards the final price (93 Pontiac Grand Prix with 95K mi.) and i got them $1,000.00 down off MSRP which matched a phone quote I received from Fletcher Jones in Chicago. if you got kids, the sedan's the way to go. if not, can't beat the coupe!!!!

Good luck Miki. It's hard to find any 2003.5's in a standard color with the options I picked out!!!!

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Try Infiniti of Lisle. 2nd largest Infiniti dealer in the US (#1 is in Jersey!). Very nice people, we've bought our G35 sedan and a 2001 I30t from them. Talk to Bill Haines...tell him Dan Parmelee sent you.

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Alan Gordon at MWB was very helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the car and showed me the pros and cons of the car vs. others in the class.

FYI I did not buy the car from MWB because all of the cars they had there were loaded. I wanted a stock w/ leather car. But I really wish they had a stock G35 there because that's where I would have bought it.

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Ordered mine from Motorwerks and have had mixed experiences with them. Talk to Jason Delacruz and he will take care of you.

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Everyone seems to praise either Lisle or Motorwerks. In terms of where to buy your car, I'm sure either one would be fine. I bought mine at Motorwerks mainly because of service. While Lisle may be huge in volume (not sure why that matters?), I feel better taking my car for service along side Porches and BMWs.
Not only that, I posted before that the Internet Salesmen at Lisle had quite the attitude about me wanting a coupe. Said he could put me on a "list", blah blah. I went to Motorwerks, said want type of Coupe I wanted, and in a week I had it. No list. There was, however, no negotiation on price. I paid MSRP, and from reading the posts on this Forum, 99% of other Coupe owners also did.

Re: Barrington Infiniti

Fields. Worked for me. Though, MW was good also. I bought from whomever had the car. Service is good at either, but parts at fields is a little, well... nonexistant.

Re: Barrington Infiniti

I dealt with MWB, but they were a little too cocky for my liking. Went to Field's and got a coupe w/Nav for $1000 less than the MWB package w/out Nav.

Re: Barrington Infiniti

It is worth the 45 min drive for the convenience. Sounds hypicritical but it is an auto mall that can paint and install all of your mods under 1 roof. Think about how they will take care of you when you trade in your G for the carbon fiber 911 in the lot. It might save you a grand or so.
