It was great meeting all of you guys, I got to step my G's game up now. I fell in love wig the second gen sedan.

 

Nice seeing everyone again, and meeting new faces. I actually think I'd rather just do a G35 meet in Castle Rock once a week or so instead of the Toys R Us meet...that meet is so lame...

And yeah dude, I need to step my freakin' game up to! My s***'s weak! Haha

 

Really glad everyone made it out! Can't wait til our next meet (that I can make lol) I'm down for Castle Rock! It's nice lil 30 min drive and yes I too feel the Toys R Us meet is lame/waiting to get busted/I'm waaaaaay too old to be there anyways haha. Did that Sonic work well? If so I'll set up a bi-weekly meet thread (every other week I can play cars lol) LMK if that works and if 7pm is still a good time for everyone? Once in a while we might even take off into the hills after the meet up!

 

After seeing a few modded 2nd gens, it made me want to sell my 1st gen sedan and pick up a 2nd gen. It looks much better than the new coupe, plus I get to run Ark exhaust. It sounds sooo sexy, Phil you need to get yours bolted on, hack saw those bolts.

I don't think I will make it every other week, but maybe once a month. I could use the time away from this place.

 

I caught a nail late that night. Blew through the side wall so I had to get new tires. I got rid of the sumitos (horrible) and got some goodyears. Nice and quiet but not very aggressive. I wanted to get wheels but..... GF wouldn't let me and I wasn't quite ready. Going into Autumn, I guess it was a good idea.
You guys really might be seeing some painted stockers soon. lol Plastidip would peel right off so i might give it a go on a couple wheels.
Question: Will it peel right off if you put layers of clear on it?? Probably huh.

 

Yah, the clear will just bond to the plasti, but the plasti won't bond to the wheel...in theory

 

After some research I see it would be simple to use plastidip as the primer, then use gloss black paint, then clear. It should still peel off easy as long as the primer coats are thick.

 

I think I inadvertently stalked you doin the research...lols

 

give it a shot, hopefully it'll turn our nice.

there's nothing wrong with being on OEM wheels i mean its going to snow before you know it...

just save up over the winter and surprise us all in the spring/summer
