Nice man, could you do some recon in the Springfield area around MSU? Basically take google maps, and grid it out.... then in each quadrant, list a number from 1-13 1=most desirable place to live and 13=a landfill...literally....

hahahaha, but for real, if you have any "definitely stay away from" or clever nicknames for teh areas around MSU that would be great... examples from So Cal:
National City aka Nasty City
Chula Vista aka Chulajuana or Lil Mexico.....hahahaaha.... I want to have a house eventually, but would most likely rent in order to find what I really want... oh and to have money to buy one would help...I have one small dog and one small girlfriend... so dont need much, we're in a shoebox (a NICE shoebox) of a 1 BR apartment for a little under $1300 now(garage, ac, washer/dryer are a must) and its rediculous...

I would for sure be willing to get some cruises going and try to start up local meets... I usually always creep up on people with nice cars and talk about em, so I don't have a hard time making new car friends.....lulz... but like you said, I should be happy no matter what...... just find me a cake 6 figure job and I'll move wherever!

Yea, cost of living is SOOOOOO expensive out here. and there is minimum 8.75% tax everywhere. I get compensated really well by the military, but I wouldn't be able to afford anything with my education.

So to bump this thread and give my opinion of my SoMo experience, I loved it. Its like a scaled back SoCal, minus the ocean. I didn't explore the entire region, but I did hit some "as the *drunk* crow flies" twisties( in a 200 Buick century)((exhilarating to say the least)) and I did scope out the towns of Ozark, ,Republic, and Springfield. All nice, but I liked them in that order. I'd just like to put this Ttt to see if anyone had more info for me! Thanks!
