There have been a few interest threads about having a MN G meet, but a plan is getting together. Signup here and provide input on making it happen.

The idea started with just meeting at the MN Z Owners ZOOM show at Morries Nissan in Brooklyn Park - http://www.zownersofmn.org/node/19. This further developed when jimcampbell offered to have a detail informational session at his place.


Here is a rough schedule of events, we'll fill in the times and locations as we go forward.

NOTICE: Due to change in the known time of the ZOOM show (actually at 10-2), details have changed quite a few times, but at a minimum come to the Zoom Show around noon. Some of us can still meet up with Jim at his place and/or a photo session at a park before, and the aftershow is up in the air. Stay tuned.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone appears to be over 21??? I think I'm the old man in the group so far.... I'll be 41 on June 15th..

It looks like the car show starts at 5PM. I'm think maybe 2 or 2:30 at my place? How does that sound?

That is odd, how about some other colors??? Mine is actually a sedan, but it is black/black.

2 sounds pretty good, I'm still trying to get a direct confirmation on the zoom show time start, but the website says 5. Provided that is the case I think that should work for most people, myself anyhow. 30 years here by the way.

 

26 here, 21 doesn't matter tho, taking other drugs to keep me sane. No drinking allowed. lol.

 

I am working on it... I get back from the bay in Cali on the 21st my wife comes back on the 23rd and I don't know if she would be down for running to the cities that weekend, BUt I am going to really try.

 

Would be nice to see a G there that's NOT black.

I have a DB Z for those that want to see something other than black Gs. If I can make it - pending the times of day of the events - I will bring my twins

 

I'll try to make it. I would really like to see Zivman's ride. I've got a Twilight Blue G. And I think I may be one of the youngest so far at 25. Where's the after party?

 

I called Morries and found out the time of the show is actually 10-2, not 5pm as stated on the mn z owners website (they don't respond either and no easy contact listed). Bad webmaster, bad!

Anyhow, since the show is 10-2 this changes the original schedule. I guess we could still meet someplace before and then cruise to the show, or maybe just switch the show first and then the detail session, unless Jim also wants to do a mini one in the am? A bit early for me though being out of state.

For now, just try to keep your late morning and early afternoon open. We'll figure something out.

 

10 - 2 kinda sucks, but we'll deal with it.

I don't think an early AM detailing will work cuz of ppl coming in from out of town, and I believe others had some other things going on.

As far as a place to meet, I live in Maple Grove (about 15 mins from Morries) so we can meet at my place if you want. Or we can head over there afterwards too. Swimming pool is open, so if it's nice we could do that.

Or we can pick a place to meet and cruise to the meet. I'm wide open, but we should probably start nailing things down.

I am trying to work this out still... Crossing my fingers. My wife has a horse show in Barnum so I am almost to the cities anyways. Maybe you guys should do the detail session / BBQ after the show... Just a thought. Anyways, I am going to really try and make it down.

 

I have existing plans around noon, I hope we do the detail after the show, then I can make it to Jims around 3 or so. Jim, chime in, whats the plan?
