If you become involved alot in these forums, trust me youll learn alot quickly. Thats exactly how I felt when I first joined the forums.

I recommend you start off with the simple and cheap stuff. I would:

1) Replace the stock "G-Tube" with the Z-Tube; it gives it a more agressive sound and allows more flow of air to the engine. (~$70)

2) An intake to complement the Z-Tube, although they are independant of each other. (I recommend the Stillen Intake; ~$200)

Thats a good start there, you might not really get a peformance kick out of those, but its sure a good start. Total Cost of mod 1 and 2 should be around 200~300 bucks. And yes this is really the most common "first step" for many modders.

Now if you have even more cash, id get:

3) Set of Pulleys (~$300)

4) Stillen Grounding Kit (~$150)

5) Plenum Spacer and/or Mrev2 ( $300~800 )

6) Headers (preferably stillen; ~$700 + Labor)

7) True Dual Exhaust ( Personally I believe Stillen and HKS Hi-Power are the 2 best exhaust out there; $1200~1500 + Labor )

8) And lastly, but definately not least, Id go FI (ie. Superchargers, Turbo).

Obviously this can be pretty expensive, but if you have the cash, its worth it. I would definately buy a vortech SC if I had the chance. ( ~$5000 + Labor)

Theres obviously other mods you can do such as exterior and interior. Trust me, modding a G will definately cost you. Everything will suddenly add up.

If you were to actually get all those mods listed, then you would have one badass G! But its gonna cost you...lots of cash.

No problem.

I suggest you hang around here a little bit more often before you buy any mods though, so you can get a clear idea of what you want.

I believe it tunes your car so your mods will get the most performance out of it.
