Hey guys well I'm proud to say i'm the owner of a 2006 DG sedan 6MT. Picked it up used with 9500 miles.

Coming from a slightly modded 03 mitsu EVO. i must admit its a big change.

I did the same thing with a heavily modded 04 Evo. Very different experiance. Have you gotten used to actually being able to have a conversation in the G on the highway doing 85mph? I loved the Evo but getting older makes the creature comforts all that much more nice.

I also recently came from an EVO. An '05 making 333/323 whp. Big change, but age, children & job travel necessitated a change. Very happy with my '06 6MT G, though.

its good to see some ex-evo owners on here. I think we all share the same decision for our change... getting a little older (not that old 28), need something more practical. I would have loved to keep the evo but can't afford both cars.

So far I love the smoothness of the G and like the low end torque. Daily driver is cake although the top end needs a little work. What do you guys suggest?

i think i got a pretty good deal, a little under 28k. They gave me a great price on my trade in too so it made it seem worthwhile.

the dealership gave me a full tank of gas but realized they put in 87. After reading the manual, it says to use 91 in the 6MT sedans so i put in about 3 gallons of 100 octane unleaded and filled the rest with 91. Call me paranoid or whatever

I came from an 03 EVO as well. It was a great car; no issues. Hated that f'ing spoiler though. The lack of creature comforts in a car that I paid MORE for compared with my 06 G35 6MT got disheartening after a while. I think that is the car that kept Mitsubishi alive the past couple of years. I'll definitely give the EVO X a look in 08.
