How can I tell...

...if I got the Sport Package on my '03.5? I just purchased it two weeks ago, the dealer had it listed as the 'Sport Sedan' although the wheels were standard 6-spoke. Is there something in the VIN that could tell me?

By the way, this is my first non-ford vehicle, and I couldn't be happier to be behind the wheel of my G.

Sport or non-sport, it's a great ride, DVatz.....
I've forgotten, now, what differentiates the sport version from the non-sport, -- I believe it was reclining rear seats, 5 spoke wheels, and possibly dual zone heating/cooling.

I don't believe the VIN has that kind of info, but there are several production (tin) plates under the hood which might..

Welcome, and enjoy the new ride. It's a beauty....

Colin.

Thanks for the props man. Yeah, I've got all those options (reclining rear seats, leather, dual zone climate, both front seats power) - I'm just missing those awesome wheels. Seriously, I'm missing them. And a front license plate filler. I guess I'll just have to go aftermarket. Ugh, the things I'm forced into. :P

Sounds like you've got the sports edition but without the 5 spokes... Very nice ride.
Those wheels probably got traded by the previous owner.....

Check around..You may find someone willing to trade for your 6 spoke, or even get some of the more recent wheels from owners buying aftermarket.

VIN Decode

Go here to see a VIN decode. http://www.infinitihelp.com/vin.htm
Packages are not part of the VIN.
The 6MT comes with Sport Package by default. If you have an A/T, I do not know, except that the gold Brembo calipers are part of it I do believe.
