After driving mr2's since i was 16, i decided to grow up and get a practical daily driver.

Always loved the G35 Coupes since they were released, started looking seriously into getting one a couple weeks ago.

A Carribean Blue one popped up locally, i test drove it, loved it and took it home two days later.

Its a 2003 29k miles. Fully loaded, 18's Brembo's, Navigation, Heated seats the whole 9, 6spd.

I love it.

Anything i should look out for, as far as maintence wise?

Thanks guys.

hehe, always good to see another CB owner =) were pretty much invisible to this site, there was one thread abt posting pics of CB and i think only 5 or 6 posted but oh well. As far as heads up, break squeak was/is pretty major, it happens everytime ur car sits for a long time like overnight. cracks on the inside of the headlights, make sure to check and get the warranty if still covered. thats all that ive experienced for now. 29k is pretty low, i got mine 3 months ago and it had 47k. anyways, enjoy the car and i guess welcome =)

I havent had a chance to check on the warranty yet, the car was orriginally purchased in May of 2003. How long do the factory warranties usually last? I always thought it was 36k, or 60k.

I notice on nights it gets cold here up in the northeast, the brakes seem to stick when taking off first thing in the morning. Anything that i can to do prevent that from happening, or is this a sign that the brakes are going and need to be replaced soon?

Thanks

hey sw20 mkii 3sgte... saw you at the Sbux meet on 4/21... I was DGcoupe #2... where did you find that CB locally?
Check your oil frequently... 6MT are known to burn some oil...

what mods are you going with?

Be onguard
Hi!

I'm happy for you that you finally get a Coupe. Maintenance for every car owner is really important. What I suggest you is to look at your brake pads. Make sure that it doesn't create annoying sounds.

If you happen to notice that it does, you better have them replaced. That's what I did with the ones I got in my car. Now I don't hear those sounds anymore. I had them replaced by EBC Brake Pads. I am now driving in great comfort.
