Well it's official. I went to the dealership today and signed the lease for my new G35x sedan. In my negotiations with the various dealers in the GTA I found one with a newly arrived vehicle with the colour and options I wanted. It will be prepped and ready for pcik-up tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately, I did not bring my camera with me today, even though the dealer had the car parked out front for me to view. It was still wrapped with shipping film and plastic inside. Ahhh.... the site of a brand new car fresh from the factory, one of life's little pleasures. I will definetly post pictures once I pick up the car tomorrow. It will probably take me some time before I figure out all the wonderful toys on the car, but that will just add to the fun of the whole experience.

Well just got the car home. It's going to take months to wipe the grin off my face. All I can say is WOW! This car is definetly incredible. As you can see we have now become an Infiniti only family. The QX4 (still a great SUV, we love it.) is the wife's and for transporting the baby and the G35x is my mode of transportation. I sure have alot of learning to do, but will be enjoying it every step of the way.

Thanks GEE35X, I guess great minds think alike on the colour combinations and yes the G35x and the 02 QX4 makes us a very well rounded Infiniti family. As an aside my splashguards were also negotiated as part of the deal and the dealer is looking to maybe source them from the US, but has heard that they may be available shortly.

 

I worked the same deal with the Splashguards and I am still waiting since December. You didn't get yours from Guelph did you? I ask because I was complaining about the splashguard availability last week and that they were available in the US, and so they were maybe going to Special order them for me from the US.
