Talking Picked up a new G :D

So after hours and hours of waiting and waiting. I finally picked up a new 2007 g35 sport in blue slate and i have to say wooooooooooooow.
Upgraded from an 04 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS and I cant stop smiling
I got the Premium Package, with Sirius Radio and Splash guards, all season mats and cargo net for 34,495 + taxes and fees but I think the financing interest was kinda high at 6.49. Anybody know if thats acceptable for tier 1 credit?

First of congrats (I will hopefully be picking mine up tomorrow). The financing sounds about right. In the absence of special financing 6.49 is very good at this time.

Congrats on the new car!!

Are you getting the factory Sirius install or having the dealer install it? I ask because I had the Delphi XM Roady2 in my 03 G35, but I don't have it on my 07. I can hook it up via the fm modulator, but the sound is kind of bad. I'm thinking of having an audio shop install XM so I can see the channels on the lcd screen.

The satellite radio was a factory option which im probably not even going to use but its nice to know its there if I ever wanted it.

First day with the car... had 9 miles when I drove it off the lot and now it has 150. Im so tempted to just punch it a lil bit to feel that "SWELL" but i've kept it under 4k. Still not used to the rear wheel drive yet because of the rain. Maybe I should have gotten the X?

Coming from a car that had an actual "system" with aftermarket hu, multichannel amp/ mono amp/sub that hit pretty hard.. I have to say that its very welcoming to the ears to hear a stock radio with such clarity.

I swore to myself that I would keep this car stock but... i think im starting to feel the bite.

The sat radio should be free for 3 months so they can hook you.

I love the color. The first thing that caught my eye when I walked into the dealership was the showroom car that was in blue slate. My last car was a Platinum Silver Metallic paint which was horrible because Subaru paint is just bad. I hope Inifiniti's paint yields better results.

Judging from past model years, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one...
