She is now home, and yes, she has seen the far side of the tach. I usually change cars every 1 or 2 years, but this car is a keeper. Before I bought it, I rented several base models from Hertz, when on business trips, so I had a few thousand miles and hours in type. The ultimate test drive, and it was enough to get me out of my '05 5M Legacy GT Limited wagon. This is my first non turbo car in years, having had 2 LGT Wagons and an STI before it.

Damn you and I could be twins, this is the same story for me.
Had 3 subarus (2.5RS, WRX, 05 GT Legacy Ltd Sedan) and an Audi, all 4 cylinder, 3 of them turbos, all AWD. This will be my first RWD 6Cyl.
I also have this car in hopes of breaking my new car every 2 years trend.
Congrats on the new car, mine will be in in July.

Thanks Red, I'm an AWD Junkie, but now that I'm not in the snow belt anymore (lived in CT before moving to NC 7 months ago) I decided to go for the S, this is also my first automatic car since my '94 Z-28 and the intelligent tranny with the paddle shifters had a lot do with that.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine, I'm already closing in on the 200 mile mark and I picked it up with 11 yesterday.
