From and IS350 to an 07 G35- here I am with pics of G and one of my Shelbys-

Hey everyone-

Had an IS350- missed having a manual, missed having room in the back seat- and so here I am- I bought the IS350 well before the new G had come out-

The IS350 and the G really are two different cars by the way- but here you go-

The G is blue slate/ charcoal- sport with premium- 6 speed manual

I am a Sales Manager for MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust- so any guess on what the first mod will be? LOL

The G-

The 66-GT350 Hertz (clone)

The 67- GT500- the real thing

Well- with out getting too graphic...

in the handling department....

at 9/10s the IS350 was saying are you sure about this, I dont want to get pregnant

at 9/10s the G35 says- do me like the little ***** I am- LOL

The IS350 just felt disconnected when pushed, like the steering said one thing and the car said another- great for luxury- not good for fun-

The G is more sports sedan with some luxury-

The IS350 is more luxury sedan with a little sport- if that makes any sense-

Congrats on the purchase of your G. As much as I love the G, I'd take one of your Shelby's ANYDAY!!!!!!!

I grew up on Mustangs and my father has had several (mostly Mach I's), although he's never owned a Shelby. Your GT500 gives me a woody!

did Cerritos give you a very good deal?
I was considering shopping there, but they never return my emails with serious answers.

Call and ask for Goodwin- he was my salesperson- tell him you know Brent Bass through a friend- the guy with red hair that works for MagnaFlow that came in and bought the blue slate 6 speed G a few weeks ago-

If he cant remember me, tell him the guy who thought his wife was going into labor during the deal..LOL (no baby yet- she was due yesterday)

I got a great deal- the price on the car was average- $1000 over invoice- however they gave me alot more money for the car I traded in-( I traded in an IS300 not my IS350-long story) then anyone else would- so it made it very much worth it-

Nice Shelbys. And great G.

I have had Fords all my life (25 years old so not too long) and even a Lincoln right now but getting sick of these cars. Ford doesn't make cars like they used too. Looking for a G now also. But I always love the old stangs and you have nice ones there. That 67 is a one beautiful machine.

Does Goodwin deal with all types of sales? I am looking for a used G in a few months and Cerritos just seem to have some good pricing online. When I am ready I am going to head in there in person and see what they can do.

Take care and welcome to the forums.
