I just placed an order for a 2008 Infiniti G35 Sport 6MT Sedan

Liquid Platinum with Black leather and aluminum trim, 6 speed manual, Premium Pkg with i-pod integration, XM radio and upgraded Bose system and the other convenience features

I ended up at $1,500 off MSRP, which seemed like a pretty decent deal.

The order goes in Aug. 1, and the car should arrive in 60-90 days. It's gonna be a long *** 2-3 months.

Congrats! You're gonna love the G, but you are definately gonna miss that GTI like I miss my S.

 

yea, the GTI was just a bit too impractical... I don't miss it one bit yet, I'm just eagerly awaiting the G.

I'll have a 450awhp B5 A4 within the next 4 years as a project car, so I'm not too worried.

kcmo, i didn't realize you could order the 08 sedan already. is the invoice on the 08 sedan the same as the 07 sedan?

 

no pricing has been released yet... but it is supposed to be about the same as the '07 model.

my paperwork literally just says "1500 under MSRP" and "500 deposit" under my premium pkg and splash guards/cargo net list.

 

How much extra did you pay for the i-pod integration?

 

it's standard along w/ XM radio on the '08.

 

the price tag will pro bably be $800 more than the 07 but congrats on ordering the 08 6mt

 

any theories on why it will be that much more expensive?

 

Is it true that the 08's will have a all-wheel-drive sport edition? Also, have all the problems (rattles, sunroof leaks, and door sealers) been fixed w/ the later manufactured models? When do the 08's drop?

 

yea, there's a G35x Sport for '08. Hopefully any quirks from the early '07s have been worked out. I'm set for delivery in 60-90 days.

 

Did they put the new manual tranny from the '08 coupe into the sedans?
