Actually I contacted the dealer 2 weeks before, about what I'm exactly looking for and that I'm only willing to deal via the Internet dept. The Internet Mgr suggested I order the '08 6MT, so I sat on it. But then she called back over a week later and informed me that the car was in stock at another local dealership, so the car was delivered, and I settled on that Sun. I originally was only looking for Prem+Nav, but Tech was only another $950, so that was an easy decision. Plus, I couldn't get that deal if I ordered the car, would be closer to MSRP. So, yeah, '08s are here, just have a dealer you're happy to deal with search for you. I got lucky, that's all.

well after contacting them over and over he found me a blue slate 2008 sedan with the premuim package and cargo net. only thing that wasnt perfect was that it didnt have the graphite interior. He had theres only a handful of 6mt without navigation that i requested. So I might have to settle for one with the stone interior...
I might see if he can get one with a graphite and what might options are already on it.
how much did you end up paying for yours? also was it an issue that you didnt get to test drive the vehicle before you purchased it? this is my first time with a G

because of the hassle with the finding and ordering situation...im kinda considering maybe even going with a 5at? I mean i did do alot of drag and street racing years ago with my swapped civic. Now that im looking more of a relaxed vehicle i was looking into getting a G...but the 6mt really tempts me into wanting another manual.
Im still in a stuck position....

Grubbs Infiniti here in Dallas TX had an '08 6MT sedan, and plenty of 6MT G37's. I drove it before I decided to get the 5AT.
I cant compare to the 07, but it still had a fairly high engagement point. There wasn't any issue with throttle touchiness, as I belive the 08s have an updated ECU flash to improve this. It wasn't something that I couldn't get used to, but I actually enjoyed driving the 5AT more. IMO it seems to fit the overall character of the car more - and you really don't lose much performance relative to the 6MT (I reserve the right to change this opinion once the break-in period is over )
for what it's worth - i have driven a manual for the last 15 years.... my last car was a '96 mustang GT with ford racing clutch

yea i think im going to end up going possibly with a 5AT. Im kind of wanting to make a change since both my hondas before were manuals which I loved but since I have gotten older and want a vehicle that requires less work for me. Im going to go with a 5AT.
I did find a 6mt but didnt have the interior color. I ended up finding the one I wanted in a journey model.
So hopefully soon ill be the a owner of a G like you guys
