Angry Got 2008 G35x yesterday, Chapel Hill, NC. But bummed about something!

Got a very nice G35x Prem/Nav/Splash Guards yesterday. Black on black. Looks and drives awesome, as expected.

However, I am terribly bummed about them drilling holes in the front for license plates. No front license plates are needed in NC, must have been done by the Virginia dealer they did a dealer trade with.

What are my options? Any suggestions?

Also, what all should come with the car? I got the manuals, a magazine to load CDs for the trunk unit, a cable for the iPod, wheel locks and a first aid kit. should there be anything else?

couple of newbie questions: where does the Nav DVD go? I can't find it although the Nav is working fine. Also, where can i read the external temperature? On the way to work today, i couldn;t figure that out.

1. get bumper plugs, and get over it. You wont see them while you are driving. and you will soon find that with this car, that is all the matters, the drive.
2.The Nav system is hard drive based, so no dvd is needed.
3. You have everything that should have come with your car.

+1...what he said. Except one thing:

GO TARHEELS!!!

And oh yeah...post some pics! Preferably in front of the Dean Dome. Or maybe with Ty Lawson sitting in the passenger seat or something.

On the display in the gauge cluster between the speedo and tack.

No advice about the front plate but i would say lookout for the roads in Chapel Hill. I'm in school here and the potholes are unreal. It's like they are just lurking waiting to pounce on our cars.

Congrats!

Congrats on the new ride. The location for the temp display is between the gauges, but to get to the temperature function you've got to press the top button on the upper right of the instrument cluster. If you're looking straight at the gauges you probably can't see it because it's hidden behind the steering wheel. Peek around, find the button, and then scroll through...
