Well, I've been searching these boards for a few months now and doing my research for a while, and finally came across a beautiful ride that I couldn't pass up. I went and purchased her on 11/30/07. Here are the specs:
'05 G35c, Ivory Pearl / Stone, 34,056 miles, AT, OEM 19s on Nitto Invo's, Premium Package and rear tinted windows.
I will copy and paste what I wrote over on the acurazine boards...
You can check the mods that I've completed so far in my signature. Within the next few weeks I plan on getting a Z-tube, MDE 5/16 Iso Thermal Spacer, Crawford/FI HFCs, paint the grille black, get eyelids, and get a black chrome emblem for the rear to make it flow a bit better.
I actually had a couple of questions that I was hoping you guys could answer for me:
1) None of the service records were included with the car. Can I have a local Infiniti dealer look up the VIN and will they have the records on their database? I have no idea if the previous owner did the 30k service or not.
2) How soon do the brakes go? I have a feeling my brakes are getting low because it sort of feels funny when I brake.
3) How do I know if I have the Sport-Tuned Suspension? Also, how come my car doesn't have memory seat or steering wheel when exiting the car?
4) I asked this already, but is 15-16mpg normal for mainly city driving? That seems absurdly low, because I was getting atleast 19-20mpg in my Acura CL-S in the city.
I am absolutely in love with this car, except for it's gas mileage at the moment. Besides that, it's an absolute blast to drive. On top of that, I get looks left and right, for I'm assuming it's beautiful looks and lustrous exhaust note. I'm really glad to be a part of this forum, and look forward to getting to know all of you. To a worry-free ownership, and wonderful times to be had
`John
P.S. Here are the pictures from the Dealer. I'll upload current pictures of the car later this week.

You can now consider me a proud owner of a 2005 G35c!! I went last night and signed all the paperwork, and picked the car up this afternoon, while trading my '01 Prelude in. All I can say is....WHAT A RELIEF!!! So much weight has been lifted off my shoulders now. I ended up getting the car for $23,469 + T&L, which was a great deal. The CarFax came up with nothing, only showing the date it was registered, and clean besides that. Also, I took my car in the other day for an oil change, and they told me I had about $950 of repairs that were needed, so I saved myself on that headache by trading it in. I just got back in from taking it out for another spin, and I can't wipe the smile off my face. It's such a great car, and I'm 100% stoked about my decision. The dealership is Rydell Chevrolet, and has 3 other locations in the San Fernando Valley, as they are a rather large dealership down here. They also include a 7 day, no questions asked Return Policy with a full refund, or 30 days for an exchange, which is damn good.
I would love to throw some pictures up besides the ones on the website, but I'll have to wait until I get a camera to take some better pictures. I must say, I actually really like the interior...a lot. The ergonomics are great, and the updated interior compared to the '03-04 is MUCH better. I'm still in awe that I got the car that I wanted. Also to note, the car looks damn near BRAND NEW. No dents, scratches, or bodywork from what I can tell. The thing is an absolute beauty! And I finally had a chance to see the Pearl tonight under some good lighting and it looks great.
I'm already bidding on getting the '06 headlights w/ the projectors, and I've got a couple other things that I have planned within the next couple of weeks. I'll definitely post pictures once I get those things all squared away, but for now, I'm going to enjoy her the way she is for the meantime . I'm going to go in tomorrow morning to get the front windows tinted as well, something that I find necessary for the meantime. Stay posted for some updates

First off.. sick ride.. i regret not getting an IP
.. anyway
1) I think so.. should be registered..
2) REAL fast.. i had to change my brakes TWICE.. and i'm at 40K.. i would reccomend just going BBK ASAP hahah..
3) I dunno about the sport tuned suspension. No memory seating cause infiniti is gay
4) 15-16 mpg? All depends on your driving style.. Of course more aggressive drivers get less mileage than conservative drivers who predict stops/traffic.. but that sounds about right.. fyi mods are only going to make it worst
looks like your on the right path though.. gl and hf with it!!
oh and WELCOME!!
