Finally settled a good case and got it. 2008 IP Sport/Nav/Premium/Tech/Auto/Clearbra, splash guards, trunk mat, cargo net, etc. Don't see many Louisiana people here, if any. Tough to get one here in Lake Charles b/c there are not many dealers. Closest is two hours away in Baton Rouge. I drove 4.5 hrs to Jackson Mississippi to get the fully loaded car in IP. Out the door for $42,000. Our tax rate is 9%, so that was a killer. The car is awesome, but I still have the problem I posed to the forum a year ago when I test drove the 2007 sport. Thigh bolsters jab into my butt and thigh. I don't know if there have been any developments on this issue since I have been gone, but I'd be interested to know if any solutions (other than me losing weight) have come about. Anyway, its great to be back, especially now that I have the car to yap about. So, new G owner saying whazzup

hey man congrats on ur new G.....i use to live in RAYNE...thats very close to lake Charles correct? Well your probably gonna be the most "MODERN" person in your town with that HOT *** ride. I remember every time i go there to visit family i feel like i went back 20 years just because of the laid back old school life style in that area....im sure your IP will standout

Yep. Lake Charles is about 45 minutes west of Rayne, and you're right, there's a black 2007 sport driven by a professor at our university here. That's the only '07+ G35 in my town. We have a local Scca that autocrosses. Used to do that in my altima, but really looking forward to it in the G, and really looking forward to the Driver's Edge school at Texas World Speedway in March.
