New G35 Sport 6MT Here
Hi all,
I'm glad I found these boards. It always amazes me what resources you can find on the Internet. Looks like a great site.
I just purchased my 07 G35 Sport 6MT two days ago. I work PT for a LARGE used-car dealership. We had this baby on the lot for weeks before I even realized it was there. I hopped in, pressed the clutch and hit the start button. When the engine roared to life, I was sold.
What an AMAZING car. Black on Black, slightly used, the car is a real head-turner. I'm having the windows smoked out this weekend, and I'll eventually at least change the exhaust and have a sway bar installed, but with the ride has stiff as it is I can't see myself lowering it or moving up to a larger size wheel from the factory 18s.
This is my "midlife crisis" car (40 here), and the first manual I've owned in a long time. Previous car was an Acura TSX which I liked alot. It of course didn't have the power this beast has, but it also was MUCH easier on gas. Oh well.
I'm still learning how to drive it. Sometimes I think there's too much power and I definately have to get some all-season tires for it (I live in Ohio) but other than that, it's a joy to drive and has a great sports car feel.

I know of one midlife crisis guy who blew his money on a Camaro. The car was sweet; the problem was the owner had bad knees, a bad back and was a married man with grandkids.
Anyway, welcome, have fun and-

Congrats & Enjoy your new G-unit! Rear wheel drive in Ohio? I thought folks there get 4WD.
