New G owner in Tulsa, OK
Hello everyone,
I finally found the G I wanted and bought it a few weeks ago. I picked up a Diamond Graphite 2006 6MT Coupe with all the options. I have clear corners (RETURNED, Didn't fit right), polished z-tube and a K&N drop installed now. I changed the oil last night and put some fresh Mobil1 in (Mobil didn't last too long, OC = NEW ENGINE). My plans for the G include forced induction in the near future, although I haven't decided on either Turbo or Supercharging yet (JWT TT or PowerLab ST). I have built and owned two low 12-second Eagle Talon AWD's in the past so I am very familiar with turbocharging. O ya, the front license plate assy you see in the pics is gone now!
My next set of mods will be the Power Lab 3/8" spacer and MREV2 followed by Hotchkis Sways, Project Mu Pads w/ ATE fluid, Motordyne XYZ pipe & VQ Exhaust, Osiris from Uprev, Megan RTP's, Amsoil 75w90 differential fluid, a cat back exhaust system. I have heard a few sound clips online and I'm leaning toward the Stillen true dual system. I would love to keep the exhaust note as close to stock as possible. After that I will need to pony up for some new wider tires 255/40R and 245/35F Falken FK452! The stock tires have been getting abused lately .
EDIT: Since this post has been revived, I made a few changes (BLUE = have, RED = decided against). I think I just about covered it for now.

Regarding Jackie Cooper, I did not buy it there. A 2006-2007 6MT was a must, and I was picky about color combos. I ended up driving to Fort Worth to pick up the G. There were around 10 in the DFW area I was looking at. Stupid me even got a ticket on the way back!
I was at Jackie Cooper yesterday though, I picked up a few oil drain plug crush washers because I changed the oil out to Mobil1. The guy at the parts counter gave me 10 for free! I also had to pick up a front tow hook cover. Anyway, check out my post for a Tulsa Get together in the South Region forum.
I do love to go to Cooper though and drool all over the Porsches on Sunday's though. We do that every now and then prior to our weekly Wal-Mart in Bixby trip. My soon-to-be 3 year old is just like his daddy, he loves cars!

When I bought mine 4+ years ago, I hadn't even went in to the dealership before buying it. I had gone to the OKC dealership a couple times looking at the used ones, including one that was nice except for the interior color. The salesman upset me though when I stopped in to check on whether they could find me a model in the color I wanted, the salesman told me he would call me back later that day (he had another customer when I arrived), then he didn't call. The tulsa dealership was willing to look around, and found one in Missouri exactly how I wanted it (except it was my second choice in color). And quoted me a price less than I expected. I didn't see my salesman until I showed up to pick it up.
