New G35 owner this week!
Hello, all.
Just got my G35 this week. 2008 sedan, journey, premium. Garnet ember w/ charcoal interior and wood trim. Loving it! I live in Houston, but bought it in San Antonio, so had an awesome 200+ mile trip back to Houston
Awesome car! I was excited before purchasing it, but now that I have driven it around all week, I love it even more than I thought I would! The swell of acceleration is incredible, and I am amazed by the handling, too.
It is a big step up from my previous car (1993 Geo Prizm). I bought that car new, and kept it for 14 years. Great little car -- only 1 repair in 14 years! Got me to and from my private school high school teaching days, graduate school, and my years as an assistant professor. It was time to get something new, and I figured since I waited so long, I'd treat myself to what I really wanted. I'm really pumped that with the deals going around, the rebate, and the 2.9% long term financing, I got this car for only 1000 or 2000 more than I would have paid for a 2008 Accord (loaded), which is what I was going to get before considering the Infiniti. I plan on keeping this one 10 years or more as well, assuming it proves to be reliable.
This forum really helped me research the car, and to figure out how good a deal I could get. I look forward to checking back and seeing what everyone is talking about!

A wise and smart choice over a boring Accord
Great choice of cars. I'm on my second one, an 08 GxS Plat Graph and love it more than the first one. I wanted that Garnet color so bad but it was hard to find in NE in the xS model. It's hhard to keep the speed down.
