Talking Another n00b... love this site!!!

Hey all,

I've been lurking for a couple months, researching the G along with the 'usual suspects' of competitors. In the end, there really wasn't ever a choice. I picked her up Sunday and took a few shots after work today... This thing is silly-good, but you knew that already.

I'm thinking the first round of mods are going to be the OEM spoiler and overlays for the rear lights and valence. Beyond that, who knows...

In any case, thanks much to the mods and members here. I'll be around.

later,
DT

Thanks, dvs. Yeah, I caught the mod-bug with the Ducati... this time I don't really even have an excuse - I already know how slippery the slope is, Ha!

In any case, we've only had about 60 miles together so far and I'm still figuring everything out... but I'm already in love.

Thanks for the welcome, all!

Each day, it's so much more fun. We're over the century-mark as of today!

Congrats on the new ride! How about considering the Stillen rear spoiler instead of the OEM?

Thanks, Armanius. Yeah, I've looked at the Stillen, and the Impul, and the Euro-style... but I think I like the OEM best. I think the air-gap above the chrome lip helps to separate the two - otherwise the chrome chunk looks kinda funny to me...

But hey, that's the fun of modding - to each their own!

(BTW, I'm 'working' from home today, but it seems like I have all these errands to run all over town... oh, woe is me... )

If I were to put the Stillen spoiler, I think I would cover up the chrome portion with something like a Bat peel and stick overlay. I think I'll probably doing the overlay even without a spoiler.

Working from home is always great!

inTgr8r,

Thanks, ha. The login's a holdover from my days on ducatimonster.org - same idea as here, just a different vehicle...
