Thanks Buddiee, but the whole point of my getting another ride was to have 4 doors. i LOVE the coupes, always have. But would have stuck w/my E and no car note if I wanted a coupe. And never would have discovered the addiction of the G. The no note thing was AWESOME, but the G is so worth-it! I think Ima be brave and post a pic...isn't there a "show yourself" thread in here somewhere? I swear I've seen it.

Hehehe, I WISH!!! He just got an 03 F150. He's a Ford fanatic. He still has the Bronco & we have an 81 Mustang under construction - finishing touches on the 400 we're dropping in it. He has the same passion for his Fords, I prefer to stay with import. .....maybe one day I'll be able to talk him into it! Then I can have a sedan and a coupe! Yes, I can have two...

Something I've always thought about was, when buying a rev-up, it's not like you can test drive a car for 1000 miles in relation to the oil-consumption issue. How would one go about checking if a car has the oil consumption issue is my concern. Sure you could look at it's exhaust to see if there's alot of oil build up, but that could be cleaned, and maybe it's not consuming that badly. There are so many ways to hide that. Sure you could check its service histroy, but what if the person tops it off all the time or just changes the oil him/herself? But I always thought there has to be someway to check right? Just a thought.

That is a VERY good point. Ima post a thread asking if anyone knows how to spot this before you buy a car or if your warranty is about to expire and you recently purchased our car (like me).

Done. I just linked your question to a new thread. You summed it up pretty well.
