Thumbs up Looking to Learn From Everyone!

Hey guys.. just wanted to take this opportunity to formally introduce myself to the forum.

I recently purchased a 05 g35 coupe with sports package 6MT and 37k miles for 18,750. I live in Santa Clara CA and dealt with Carsmith motors in Fremont CA. Overall the transaction was pretty pleasant but i didn't feel like i received the best customer service. Anyway, i can't really complain i think i got a pretty good deal for the car.

I'm not going to do a lot of performance work. Maybe just little things like shift ****, clear corners and tint for now. If anyone has a good shift **** for sale that they're be willing to let go please pm me.

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Hey saucy,

I also bought my G35 from Carsmith Motors in Fremont this past February. What a coincidence! I live in Milpitas. How are you liking your car so far?

I just paid for the car last weekend and havn't picked it up yet. Did it take them awhile to prep your car before they handed it over to you? I dealt with Marat and he's making me wait till midweek to pick it up.

Marat was who I dealt with as well. He wanted to make me wait a couple days, and I told him I was missing work to be there and that if we didn't do the paperwork and get me my car right then, we had no sale. I guess I just really wanted the car.

So to answer your question, no he didn't make me wait, but I think he would have if I didn't demand otherwise. He also gave me the car on empty.....the gas light was on. I think that was kinda ridiculous, but oh well. He did wash it up really nice.

So i'm back to square 1 in my hunt for the car. Marat didn't disclose some information to me at the point of sale and when i go to pick it up we found out some work has been done to the bumper.

That totally sucks! Welcome to the Driver and hopefully you will find your car soon! Sounds like that was an omen. Apparently your car is still out there waiting for you to scoop it up! GOOD LUCK!!!!

Ah, I know exactly what you mean. I am extremely picky too. I researched cars for 3 months, everything from Acura to Volvo before I found the car that had everything I wanted. Then I waited it out until I found the G that had all the bells and whistles cept navi, which I wasn't concerned about. It was 6mt, silver, with all options, a GREAT price and decent mileage. I couldn't be happier. My advice...DONT SETTLE! YOu will be so happy when you sit your hiney in that seat everyday that you waited for what you really wanted!
