5k at signing? Seems like you paid for your 2 lease payments, you shouldn't have to be paying anything out of pocket except first months payment when leasing. But what counts is that you are happy with the car.

 

I paid down $2500 OOP. The rest was tax, dealer fees, first payment, etc. just upwards of $4900 to drive it home

 

What I am trying to say is that if you divide the $4900 by 39 months your payment is much higher than $453. To give you an example my payment is $475 for 39 months with 15k miles a year and its for the 2008 G35X S with premium package, only out of pocket payment was $475 taxes included in the payment, no bull**** dealer fees. You should have made a better deal with the 2008 model. I also considered the G37 but like you said it was ridiculously expensive, so I took the 2008 model.
