thanks! find out about internals tomorrow so i can up the boost... this whole tranny thing is pissing me off though i read peoples trannies going with almost stock power then i see people making over 700whp on the tranny? so whats the deal?

The transmission is fine...The 009 transmission is supposedly a little more reliable than the older one. I had the older one because 2nd and 5th grinded. Now with the 009 transmission, my 6th gear grinds. It's the synchros that go bad on these damn things and they are expensive to rebuild the gears!

true thanks for the heads up my 5th grinds too but only every once in awhile... ithink it has to do with the clutch engagement because my friend got in mine and said the pedal was very short so maybe its not disengaging enough so it occasionally grinds
