Thirsty Turtle,
The correct wheels for your car are the 14 spoke (twin 7 spoke) 18"s which come on the S as shown in pics above. Since yours is 2007 MY, they only had the S package on RWD, so you should 14 spoke 18" with
7.5" wide rims with 225/50/18 Bridgestone Potenzas or equivalent up front and
8.5" wide rims in rear with 245/45/18 Bridgestone Potenzas.

I mention this because in 2008 it is possible to get S package with all wheel drive which I *think* comes with same rims but 7.5 wide in rear also with 225/50/18 tires.

So make sure you get the 8.5 wide rims with the 245's in back.

Congrats on your new car and that is pretty cool that seller was up front about rims without you asking.

BTW, I am new to this forum too. I guess I should post up in new owner section but I am not really new owner, had mine for a year now.

sweet man! thanks for the heads up on that, I knew I should be looking for the 8.5s in the back, so I'll check it when I pick them up. Thanks again, i LOVE the car! Just replaced a lot of lights with LEDs and they look INCREDIBLE.

Plus, I can hopefully talk them into letting me keep the 17's and using them for my winter setup. How great is THAT!?!
it's great that they did that. even with new tires these 03-04 OEM G35 sedan sport 17s are worth 400-500. the OEM 18s that your car should have had worth almost twice that. they covered their a$$ on this one, it's a liability for them. congrats on the new car!
