Long overdue hello
Long overdue hello
Hello Driver!
My wife and I are proud original owners of an 05 LS 5AT sedan (hers) and 06 OB 6MT coupe (mine). I found this site over a year ago and have been reading and learning as a guest everyday since. I thought it was about time to say hello. I'm new to the modding world and extremely thankful for what I've searched and learned from all of you!
Before I get to our pics, "I know, I know," spacers and a drop. As far as my car, that was my plan, but after the birth of our 2nd child, my priorities shifted. My "vice-president of human development" is now home full-time, so what extra $ I make goes to even more diapers, formula, etc.
Thank God both cars are paid off. I'm debating saving money and doing the work myself; I am "mechanical minded" so I understand how things work. I'm just not very "mechanical" -- I was never good with tools, that's why I'm in the medical field (you want to see me sweat like a ***** on nickel-nite, send me to the tool section @ Home Depot). I understand SxExCx is in my neck of the woods, so hopefully he'll be interested in doing some stuff for me.
Anyway, here's our girls (I'd post more pics, but they both are pretty-much stock)...

Welcome indeed! Nice little fleet you've got started there and CONGRATS on baby #2!
As you may have picked up in your year, the marketplace can really stretch your dollar, and if you watch a few DIY's and eat yer wheaties, you too can be a budget-baller lol

Thanks fellas! As a matter of fact, TwilightBlue, if I can get around to switchin' out to new rims, my 19's will go to my wife's sedan (it's the only thing she will let me change)...

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Good looking family of cars, you should fit right in around here. Don't have tool anxiety, if you've read up over the past year a lot of the maintenance and mods you will need/want to do can be done at home pretty easily. When I bought my car a couple of years ago I had little to no knowledge of the G, but have managed to do 90% of my mods and 100% of my maintenance myself. Having the right tools is the biggest initial obstacle and you can learn to do pretty much anything you want to your car by searching this site and the internet.
Surprisingly these cars are relatively easy to work on. That's a major win in my book.
