A few more pictars.

On jackstands for the first time.

New drive belts, oil filter and I properly reattached the mesh grill behind my lower bumper openings. I was going to change the oil but it was just done about 3500 miles ago and is still really clean. I had a 3 pack of Nissan filters so I slapped one on while I was down there.

I also spent some time with my 7424XP, I used a Diamond Foam Polishing pad with Meguiar's Ultimate Polish and a Diamond Foam finishing pad with Meguiar's Synthetic Sealant. Topped off with a wipe down with Meguiar's Ultimate Detailer.

I'd like to polish it one more time with a more aggressive pad and my Poor Boys SSR1. It came out really good there's just a few areas that I feel could be improved.

I thought this was sharp and had to have it:

Beading water FTW. I love watching water/rain bounce off of properly maintained paint.

Pressure washed/dryed/quick detailed/jams/bay/windows/wheels/tires all done:

I have 5k 5 LED parking bulbs to install along with 5k 13 LED fog bulbs....those will go in soon and will blend with the headlights and 5k 5 LED license plate bulbs. I'd also like to get new D2S 5K bulbs....I'm thinking Phillips 85122 (pretty sure those are the ones).

Splash guards and tint are coming soon along with new trans/differential/clutch fluid.

Well, being aftermarket paint it's not going to match 100%. I bought the car that way and honestly it blends with the rest of the car pretty good. It doesn't quite have as smooth of a gloss as the rest of the car which could be fixed with a wet sand and buff but I might work having it repainted into the budget at some point to fix a scrape on the lower driver's corner. It's facing downward but can be spotted.

Later in the year I'd like to find another OEM set of wheels to throw snow tires or all seasons on and have the 19's either refinished and PC'd or refinished and polished.

You have a very nice, clean coupe....Congratulations! Unless you're running high quality synthentic you should have changed the oil too. Just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is, hidden particles etc. Enjoy the ride, Gary

Thanks! It was a fun car, extremely easy to work on. At the end of the day though it was just an older, outdated, high mileage car. I def. had fun with it the 4 years I owned it though, no regrets.

Thanks, I don't really wipe it down more than once a week.....it seems that dust and dirt just stays out of it. Just wipe everything you can reach once a week or so and yours can be spotless.

Hmm, the last thing on Carfax was an oil change on 11/2011 and about 4K miles ago at an Infiniti dealer. I do plan on changing it very soon.

Thanks!

It was surely a fun car. Thanks! I've been having some thoughts of mild suspension and exhaust work complemented by a dyno tuning session....we'll see where things end up. lol

I don't want to go too crazy because honestly, it's a fantastic car and I really enjoy it but I will probably trade it in around 90K miles so that it still has some decent value. I have a little negative equity to deal with for now so no hurry.....the G is an awesome fun ride for sure.
