Hey everyone!

I just joined less than a week ago and never formally introduced myself. I live in the DMV/DC-Metro area I've been looking at buying a G35 coupe for a while now and am still on the hunt for an 04-06 auto with the rear spoiler. I'm hoping to own one before the summer approaches. Any tips on buying would be great! Looking forward to finding my place in this community!

Just picked up my 06 DG coupe 5AT this morning! Haven't been able to take decent pictures yet, but I will probably post some of my own tomorrow. For now here are a few pictures from the dealer! It was a trade-in vehicle and maintained nicely despite its 80k mileage.

Not sure what kind of mods I'm in for, but I really like how clean it looks stock. I love how it already has the projector headlamps and the 7-spoke wheels that I was going to put on if it didn't come with them. I might tack on an 03-05 spoiler on it but I'm actually starting to dig the look with no spoiler. But all in all I'm looking forward to being a part of the community and learning lots about the car!

Well you definitely want to get rid of that Lexus badge on the tail. That's just wrong!

Very nice, enjoy! Consider getting it checked out especially the timing belt.

Why check the timing CHAIN when it only has 80k miles. If there is any issues in timing related problems that would point to tensioner , chain guides, or vtc sprockets. CHAIN is good for 200k. Stop spitting out crap advice. Welcome to the forum.

Oh that's great to know. I assumed it was a belt that needed a swap every 100k miles like every other car

If you are ready to go broke modding. Come ride in GZILLA and you will be ruined for ever.

One ride in a twin turbo and I was hooked for life. lol

We have a huge meet coming up on April 21st. We roll about 100 deep last year and expect to exceed that this year.

@GZILLA: Thanks! I'll definitely hit you up sometime soon.

@evil-G-nius: Haha yeah, it takes time to find a good one. I searched for a good couple of weeks and checked out a few different G's before deciding this one was the one. And don't worry, I'm not going to go over the top with any obnoxious mods lol. I like it clean. Good luck in your search!

Btw if anyone else is in the DMV hit me up!! I'm looking forward to meeting all the other G enthusiasts in the area!
