Hi guys and girls. I'm from Downtown LA. Echo Park to be specific. Name's Andy, most friends call me Lazy. Born in 1986. That's all you need to know, since this is a car forum, not a dating website.

I drive a 06 G sedan in DG. Yea it's auto. Mostly bone stock. Bought from a used dealership for $13,500 back in September. 112k miles on the odometer. 1 previous owner and she was a trade in. Most maintenance was done at a Infiniti Dealership. I'm slowly going thru the paces of changing the fluids and doing all the maintenance that needs to be done. It's my 1st legit car. Back in my high school days I had a 86 FC3S that was under my sister's name. This one is actually mine.

Anyways, since my daughter was just born last October I wont be going all out with the G. I want to modify it to a certain extent where I can be happy with her yet she will still be a safe family car and reliable daily driver. I named her Jina. Probably a common name for G35's, but what the hell, her name starts with a J.

So far just a K&N filter and a Stillen z-tube. But I plan on dropping her on coilovers, some rims, full exhaust, plenum spacer, 3.7 vlsd and then tune and just be happy with her. Maybe a strut bar and some minor add-ons here and there along the way.

If you guys can give me some body shop recommendation that would be nice, she's been bumped once or twice. And when the time comes I'll probably need help with the install of most of the mods I mentioned. So far this forum has been a huge knowledge base for me. And I really appreciate it. Hope to grow and learn more about the G platform as time passes.

Welcome to the family. Sounds like you've got a good, solid plan on here future so remember if you take care of her she'll take car of you. We have a number of members with over 200K on their G's and still running strong.

 

Thanks for the welcome. I plan on driving her till the wheels fall off, so maintenance is something I'll be keeping up to date with. I've seen the highest mileage thread, but I wanna at least break 300k. But if I don't, oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
