First G
First G
Hello, My name is Erol, I have had my g35 sense christmas of last year when I took the plunge and took out my first car loan. Now this is not my first car, actually my 37th car to date, but it is my first car on a loan. I love my car she is a Sky blue 2005 G35X Sedan with cream leather interior. I have enjoyed every minute of driving her and I actually traded in a 97 audi a8 quattro as a down payment. Gonna say this car out performs the a8 in many ways, and has most of the same options. She had 111k miles when I got her.
Plans if any? First figure out why the hell she wont start! frustrating as it is today she suddenly stahled out and then refuses to start and stay running. she just sputters than dies. ARG!!!!!!!
After I figure that out I plan on getting some rims, some suspension, upgrade the breaks, put a custom dual exhaust on her, then a new paintjob, and then drop something rediculous under the hood , but I doubt my finances will allow such rediculousness so I will just try and enjoy her as long as I can, which I hope was not today.

Lol actually I am part Turkish. And my parents have never bought me a car not do they own a dealership. I purchased every car myself with my own money. My first car was an 89 240sx I found on Craig's list for 500. I have had everything from corollas to a 96 white gtr. Always paid cash till things **** out and I wanted a car that didn't suck or break all the time( like the Audi) So I got the g.
Audi is a high maintence car.I had a 03 quattro a6. I like the awd system audi uses. I think its bettter than Infiniti.Infiniti blows away audi in hp and torgue.Audi paint is incredible so flat and shines clean or dirty.I love my G35X compared to my a6.audi is high maintenance and costly to maintain!

Yeah audi is high maintenance and super expensive. fuel pump in my a8 was 1200 for the assembly and that was just parts cost. The audi was heavier, with a bigger engine, and the same power. Same options as well. the only thing my G35 doesnt have is the gas mileage counter.

Oh yes audi is high maintenance! I had a bad torgue converter just as it was time for timing belt at 100,000 miles. Cost for tc and timing belt $4200! Audis if your timing belt goes the whole top end is screwed! Another $2500-3000 repair! Love my Infiniti!

Welcome but I have to ask, are you a bass fisherman? Senko's are my go-to lure, if you don't fish you'll have no idea what I'm talking about lol. Welcome to our little dysfunctional family, enjoy your stay here.
Try to unplug the Mass Air Flow (near intake) if car starts and runs, replace it. I recently had the same issue on my 06G. Was frustrated for the first hour till my mechanic came to me, unplugged and followed me home. Embarrassing but if it helps your starting issue great. Depending nowhere you took it to diagnose could be extremely expensive... Just saying.
