'05 DG Coupe..paint grill?

Trying to decide if I want to paint the front grill black just buy a black one and have 2 to swap..

Lots of grill posts. ...

Paint the grille black
Keep the emblem chrome. The black behind it makes it "pop" more

I know there are choices of matt, flat, enamel etc..
What do you think looks best?

Did you just spray paint (primer?) by hand from can?

Depends on the rest of the colors on your car. If your other black areas are gloss then I'd say keep with a glossy black. That's what I did. IMO any black looks better than ugly chrome braces on a G front

I have stock DG coupe..see 2 pics of mine..
Just beginning some minor mods....

**The 3rd picture is from a coupe I saw in chicago with black grill that i just love...

Here's my DG with matte black grille. I used plastidip to paint it and did not prep other than clean it down. I gave it 4 coats of plastidip and has shown no signs of wear or chipping since I did it in 5 months ago.
